With VINOYASA wine and wild adventures collide – because who says mindfulness can’t come with a side of mischief?

Sommelier Abi, believes wine tasting should be fun, not fussy.

So, join us to elevate your wine knowledge and palate, whilst basking in the magic of Polcoombe.

Please arrive from 12:30 for a 1 o’clock lunch.

Alternatively, feel free to eat before arrival (you’ll still get your welcome drink) or bring your own packed lunch!

After lunch, Heather will lead a short, guided walk to aid digestion and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings at Polcoombe. There’ll be an option to sit quietly beside the fire if you are not able to, or don’t wish to, participate in the walk.

Regardless of whether or not you plan on joining the walk, please make sure that you are dressed appropriately for the November weather and wear sturdy footwear, suitable for the varied terrain of Polcoombe.

The full experience will last roughly 4 hours, and final departures should be by 5pm at the latest. Although this is technically before full dark, please bring a torch to navigate the twilight hours, especially if you plan on walking home!

There will be a selection of wine available to purchase at additional cost on the day - both cash and electronic payment will be accepted, but cash is always preferable!

We are only able to offer a limited amount of on site parking.

Therefore, we encourage you to share vehicles, where possible, or walk to us, if you are able.

A wonderful, relaxed celebration of the Winter Solstice and Wreath Making.

Join us to mark the shortest day & longest night.

It may be midwinter, but, traditionally, Yule actually celebrates the return of the sun!

A chance to look back at the year passed, and to look forward to increased daylight and new growth.

We'll be making wreaths using whips of willow and evergreen foliage, foraged from the land at Polcoombe. No pressure, no rush - all in your own time, and to your own design. Please bring any adornments you would like to add.

Winter Solstice is a time to celebrate friendships, family and kin - and we want to celebrate the wonderful community we have built here at Polcoombe.

This will be our last community event of 2026 and we look forward to welcoming many of you to join us as we reflect on another wonderful year on the land.

All our wonderful community activities are free of charge and delivered with our mission in mind.
